1 tomorrow and stopped rolling over?

DD 2 is one (yay) tomorrow, she was rolling both ways from about 4-5 months and DH and I have just noticed recently say last six weeks she doesn't do it any more.

If you leave her on her back after changing her nappy etc she just lays there will swing her legs up in the air from her hips but will not roll to her tummy.

What usually happens is we change her dump nappy and on way past while doing a million other things just sit her up so it seems she has lost the skill.

She sits well, is cruising furniture well and stands alone for a few seconds regularly.

Do we need to worry or look into this?

So what happens if you leave her on her back until she gets a bit frustrated?

My great big whale of a DS does not roll over particularly elegantly but will if he has to. He has no mobility issues but has never really been able to do a sit up either- I think it's just because he's such a whopper.

If your DD is fine in all other way re physical development, which it sounds like she is, I wouldn't think it's a big deal no expert? She probably just knows you're going to come and do it for her. Grin

She cries when you leave her (practiced a bit tonight!)

They do this sometimes.. master one skill then seem to forget how to do it just before moving onto something new.

Don't worry unless it continues, or if other skills don't develop.
