I'm abit concerned about my 4 year 8 months old son who has been waking up sometimes in the night and starts crying and saying things like "please help me" and it's just a nightmare , i soothe him and he calms down. i just wonder what it's all about, does it mean someone's trying to beat him up at school?!

It's a very common age for nightmares, from all accounts. I doubt it means anything! There is a difference between nightmares and night terrors (the latter means they are not really awake throughout, have no memory of it in the morning), but lots of my friends' children and my DS have all had increased nightmares between 4-5 yo. As it coincides with school it is easy to make some assumptions.
