2yo Pushing people away..

My son is 2 1/4. The last couple of weeks he's been pushing his Dad away and this week also his Gran.
I know my partner is harder on my son in front of her and he took them over on Saturday, but is it possible for something to have happened or just a clingy phase towards me?
Thanks!

DD is 2.2, and pushes me away (DH primary carer) when I come home in the evenings. She says, "Shoo mummy" and flaps her hands at me and gets very cross if I try and pick her up.

I hate it as I'm dying to see her Sad, but I can categorically state I haven't done anything to her. I think she's just punishing me for having been at work all day and she's now old enough to express it. It's a relatively new thing.

Don't know if it's the same for your little one, but I wouldn't assume the worst.
