My DD is weaned and so has 3 meals a day.. it looks something like this:

7am- 4oz
8am- food

11am- 4oz
12pm-food

3pm- 4oz
4pm- food

6:30-7:00pm- 4oz

is this too much milk or too little.. what is your routine like?

I'm still bf but dd has one ff at bedtime, she usually takes around 4-5oz. I try and do this

7am milk
9am cereal
9.30 sleep for half hour
11am milk
12/12.30 sleep about an hour
2.30/3 milk
3.30ish sleep for upto an hour
5pm dinner
6.30/7 milk

I'm gonna start introducing lunch around 12ish and try and bring breakfast a bit earlier, I always offer water with solids. as long as dd seems satisfied with what she's having I wouldn't worry about how much milk she's having

That's slightly too little milk - babies need 500-600ml a day until they're a year old so I would adjust that if possible. My 6mo is a greedy guts though so he has...

7/7.30am porridge
9.30/10am 8oz
12.30/1.30pm lunch/fruit/yogurt
3/3.30pm 5oz and sometimes a small snack of fruit or cheese
5/5.30pm tea (something light like toast followed by yogurt)
7pm 8oz

try offering the milk AFTER you have offered solids. That should help you naturally reduce the milk intake without making it seem like you are withholding the comfort that milk brings. You want to aim for around 20 oz of milk a day (roughly 600ml) plus solids.

mine has
8am 7 oz milk
9am porridge
11-1 sleep
1pm lunch (sandwich and fromage frais)
3pm 7 oz milk
5.30 dinner (something hot and pudding)
7pm 5 oz milk but sometimes she doesn't want this and you would think I was trying to poison her!
7 ish bed until 7.30 ish

I just went with it, tbh. My DD really got into food at 5.5 months and is a very good eater. She's 8 months now and eats 3 meals a day but it's fairly random. She sometimes won't have breakfast and instead wants milk. Lunch is pretty much always eaten, as is the evening meal. When she's not feeling great though, her food intake drops and she wants more milk, and when she's fit and fine, it's the other way around.

My experience with DD2 (8 months) is pretty much identical to Janoschi's
