DD has been very demanding and hyper active this weekend; I'm wondering if it could be because of the wind? Honestly ; I am exhausted!

Not in the way you describe but 1 yr old DD loves the wind in her face it really makes her giggle

HettyKett · 22/01/2012 20:51

Yes, always. Makes me a bit wild as well.

Catsmamma · 22/01/2012 20:53

makes the cats naughty too.

It's the wind goblins. Small children, cats and dogs can see them. The wind goblins frolic about causing mayhem.

S'true.

LadyDamerel · 22/01/2012 20:57

It's a fairly common phenomenon in schools. Windy days make even the calmest class go slightly loopy.

Dustinthewind · 22/01/2012 20:58

I was just going to say that, LD! Smile

LadyDamerel · 22/01/2012 21:01

I'd rather have all day wet play than a windy day, wouldn't you Dustin?

I'm thinking there might be something in the wind goblins theory.

cockle84 · 23/01/2012 19:08

definitely with you on the wind goblins! Sends my dog crazy and took my 10mo old out of the car in the wind and she grabbed her head as though it was going to blow away......I didn't laugh (much)

IWillOnlyEatBeans · 23/01/2012 20:32

Yes, DS goes mad in the wind!

Superene · 23/01/2012 20:34

My ds stands yelling "stop, wind , stop" and then demands that I make it stop. I have tried to explain I am not God, I can't control the weather. He doesn't believe me. It makes me laugh.

LadyDamarel is very correct re the schools. I work in a secondary school and it makes them go very hyper.
