Has anyone experience with sensory processing disorder. My 3yr old DD has been diagnosed with SPD and possibly Autism. What is the best help I can get for her? She has delayed speech, poor eye contact, low attention span and poor motor skill. We have started speech therapy and OT can any one suggest anything else? Also it takes forever to get anything from NHS can any one suggest any charities that fund young children with this extra therapy ?

What about CAHMS (CHILD& ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE) Your doctor can refer your DD to them. My DS has ASD and also ADHD and to be honest, its hard getting to see anyone, you could be in for a long fight. You could also go online and look up your local Austim group, they are the best for giving you any information that you need. Because of CAHMS we are now going to get the meds that my son needs, they are great with any help you need.
