13mo has forgotten skills

Just small things like 'wheres your nose' and he will only answer the phone rarely now, where as before he was shouting 'Harrow!' into it at every opportunity.

Could it be that he's learning something else and its all a bit much? Is that a pretty normal occurrence? He's going forward in other ways. More words and we think he'll walk pretty soon.

Both my children practiced skills in 'bouts' so would do the Harrow thing until they replaced it with a new skill/ thing to practice. It is not so much that he has forgotten, more that as you say he is learning other stuff that has taken or will take priority for now.

DS is 18wo and has stopped rolling. Because he's trying to crawl and sit. They do go a bit one track mind when learning a new skill.
