DD (7) has always had an intense personality but in recent years has calmed down a lot. We have 2 sons (1 & 3).
DD has been fine all holidays but as soon as she started back at school her behaviour became awful, she screaed and shouted & threw herself on the floor at the school gates at home time as she couldn't have a friend round and has been quite nasty to her younger brother whispering mean things to him.
My dad came round yesterday and she hit him and shouted at him, it was awful.
The same thing happened after the last holidays when she went back to school.
I know she had problems with a girl in her friendship group for the first two years of school but the girl's behaviour was monitored and supposedly improved. I wonder if it's just become more subtle?
DH can be quite strict and I wondered if it something to do with this?
I called her teacher and she says DD seems happy at school...
Anyone been in a similar situation? Help!
