Hello there Just wondered if anyone else had had a child that seemed to go through a vomiting session when new teeth were coming through, otherwise my boy Luis seems happy and well enough in himself, and though I havent kept a diary it seems that he vomits suddenly after a meal or milk once a day for a few days then another couple of teeth appear. maybe the extra acidity affecting his stomach??
Will introduce myself properly soon,
Siobhan mum to twins in southern Portugal

yes, one of mine did this. I think it's pretty common.

Yes, my 16 month old is teething late - getting them all at once! - and he has had several vomiting sessions, usually coinciding with flushed cheeks, grizzling, dribbling etc - obvious teething. DS1 did it too. Don't worry

My DS is the same. From what i can gather from health visitors they tend to get a bit snotty when teething and this leads to vomitting - sorry if tmi

YES, my health visitor said it was rubbish and an old wives tale. However I think it makes total sense that the teething inflames the glands - it certainly inflames the salivary glands, hence the dribbling - and this affects the glands in the stomach causing vomiting and griping pains. Both of mine exhibited it, whatever the HV may have said.
