He is now 20 months, and is always stroking and pulling my hair, especially when he is going to sleep.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a substitute (toy etc) to get for him so he can get the comfort without me losing any more hair? And so he can self soothe a bit better?
Pleeeeaasssee!? Smile

How about a toddler security blanket that is silky? Something like this?

My DS1 was exactley the same. He needed to twiddle my hair to get to sleep, or if he was upset.

How about looking for a toy with a long bit of hair - like a my little pony or something???

I have tried to find a substitute for my son for the past 2.6 years. I finally said enough at bed time and refused to lie next to him after he pulled my hair one too many times.

Now he uses his own hair. Except when he snuggling!
