Change of teat size??

I am using dr browns bottles currently on level 1

My DS is only 5 weeks. He dribbles his milk and gets it on his chin, but i think that is just as he is a messy eater lol

However he makes really loud sucking sounds, and it is taking him longer to feed. He now falls asleep on the bottle (as possibly too much effort??), even though he is still hungry (and wakes 15 mins later for more food)

Does it sound like i should try a level 2?

Give it a go, you can always go back if the flow is too fast. DD would make awful clicking noises and took forever to feed whenever she needed to go up a teat size.

Im just worried i wont know if its too fast, as he dribbles a lot nowand gets it all over his chin... i guess he will cough and splutter if he isnt ready.

He seems to make loads of sucking noises now, and sounds like he is out of breath
