Just wanna spread a little love to all those with sleep problems. My 7mnth old ds2 slept through last night from 7.30pm to 6.24am for the first time ever!!!!!! So don't lose hope he also has a cough and is teething slightly. How did i do it you cry, well i just stopped jumping to his aid every time he whinged. Also followed strict daytime routine with approx 2hrs sleep during day 10.30am, 2pm, 4.30pm. They were for 30min, 1hr, 30min. Hope it carries on, i'm just euphoric after last nights triumph!!

Good for you! My dss are 10 and 12 now, but I remember that ds1 slept like a log and ds2 came along and never slept. We ended up at a sleep clinic and he slept his first night through at 3 years old. I thought i would die from exhaustion. Since then I can count the broken nights I have had on one hand. They are like a distant memory.
I hope you've cracked it, well done .

I've ahd a couple of similar nights, not recently though, but thanks for hte hope. It wouldbe lovel if it was tonight, or tomorrow, or even the next night. Just one night, wow! You jammy bugger! To be fair our sleeping is easing goes to bed at 6.30/7 after bath, then a feed some 3 -4 hours later and then if I'm lcky nthing till 5 or 6. Then we change him and bring him into bed so I can feed him and then he goes till 7-8 and if I'm really lucky till 9. Well once int he las tmonth he went till 9 - it was Xmas day. You've got to admit the boy has style if not stamina dammit!

Well done you!

Ive got an 18 month old who still wakes once a night without fail, but on the other hand ive got a 12 week old who has slept 12 hours right through for the last 4 weeks! If the little one can do it WHY cant the older one!

cratchit i cant believe your name!!! my dp rides a bike to work told me it was broken the crank, i thoght it was called cratch and proceeded to tell people the cratch had broken on his bike!! We now use the word cratch to mean a tantrum- stop being cratchy means stop being moody etc !!!!

that would maybehelp next name change, I could become MoodyBastard or praps StroppyCow . I was Twitchet and changed it to Cratchit for Christmas (you know this of course but Bob Cratchit is a character from A Christmas Carol) Haven't chnage dit back and lots of people know me by it now. But I kind of like the idea of the names above. I shall seek you out next time a name change is mooted! I ofc ourse love yours too and only wish I was indeed a Yummyone.
