My DD 6yrs In Spiteful Cheeky Phase And Just Called My Dad Fatty

Our DD 6yrs old who I am already exasperated with because she is going through a phase of being spiteful and cheeky , has just called my dad fatty. I am saddened by this as he worships her. Am looking for some support on how to deal with her .Am worn out after Christmas and feeling a bit low anyway as I have a chronic pain illness and my DC are wearing me out. I have already asked her to consider how her DG may feel but am wondering if anyone out there is going through anything similar and whether anyone has any tips on how to manage her.

She would love to watch those Disney shows every day - but I can't stand them.
I allow her to watch them once or twice a week- but she moans that girls at school watch them regularly .
Does anyone think those shows should be a complete no go ?

Hi NannyPlum FWIW DD basically revealed she was being bullied a couple of days ago - she has been really difficult over Christmast. I have spoken to her class teacher today who is going to deal with it tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed. The ringleader is a child with lots of issues (I raised another concern about her which didn't relate to DD but rang safeguarding bells for me). Hopefully, her teacher who is experienced and whom DD adores, will be able to sort this. Fat was the constant insult over Xmas - the only one with a weight issue is me and I am one pound over a healthy BMI. She doesn't get why it might be hurtful and the bully clearly doesn't either because DD is petite.
