Aww I just wanted to share! She has just turned 14 months and I was beginning to get concerned about her speech as we haven't had a proper word yet, just streams and streams of babble, then tonight she sat in the bathroom getting ready for a bath and said as clear as anything 'I sit here' 3 words! Together! Over and over again every time she sat down! I'm so chuffed with her xx

Aww that's so sweet! My ds is 1 and no words yet I can't wait!!Smile

Aw :) That's really sweet. dd said 'mama' today but she wasn't looking anywhere near me, I pretended she was though Wink
It's amazing how quickly they learn isn't it.

aw thats lovely and very early i think to be able to link two words together! my twin boys only had around 5 or 6 words each at 18 months, then had this amazing, fast transition at 22 months where all of a sudden it came

TIDDLYMUM · 22/12/2011 22:19

Love that made me all gooey!!! (fsmile)

TIDDLYMUM · 22/12/2011 22:19

That was supposed to be festive smiley!!

VenusWineTrap · 22/12/2011 22:29

Aww thank you, I'm still smiling too! I'm really excited now to see if it's a gateway for anything else. I love milestones! What a lovely early Christmas present!

Aww, that's so wonderful! Thanks for sharing. My 3-month-old DD started babbling an awful lot today, all sorts of different sounds compared to the aaahs and eeeehs of the weeks before. It's an amazing thing! Happy Christmas with more lovely words to you. Xmas Smile
