My 19month old has hardly any hair

I'm probably being largely irrational! The hair she does have covers her head but it's thin and wispy. I've seen loads of newborns born with the amount she has even now. She's mousy brown so it's not like she is so fair it doesn't show. A basic hair grip just slips out. Don't get me wrong it has (kinda) grown since she was born. Anyone else's tots been slow with their barnets?!

My 17m DD is always mitaken for a boy as she has so little hair! Even when she'd in a pink dress

If it's any consolation, I hear that baldy babies often end up with thick hair!

My ds is 17 months and he's fair but the hair he does have is very fine. You can only see if if u look close or if it's wet.

In hoping he'll have more by his 2nd birthday!

My DS is 13 months and also very fair with barely any hair at the front, although it is getting longer at the back. From a slight distance he still looks bald. Apparently i was bald until 18 months. I now have the thickest hair and every time i get it cut the hairdresser comments on it.

Totally normal I'd say. DS is 21 months and is only just starting to get a decent amount of hair. And it's all at the back - not really on top yet. DS's friend, who is 18 months, has lots of hair on top but none at the back. And I've known a couple of children who only really started to get a decent amount of hair after their 2nd birthdays! My Mum reackons that the slower it arrives the thicker it is, but that sounds like another one of those old wives tails to me... In any case, I really wouldn't worry about it - she's got plenty of time to grow hair yet!

Both my dc's had hardly any hair as babies.

DS's hair started to thicken up when he was 4 and now at the age of 5 is quite normal.

DD is only 3.3 and her hair is still quite wispy, no hair clips for her for quite a while yet.

Don't worry! I have twin girls and until they were nearly two they had those little wisps, by three they had a bit more - but still only like a crop. Then it started to grow - now 6, one has hair almost to her waist (too long needs cutting Wink).
