Im not sure I'm in the right section but I'll try here anyway!

DD has just turned 1 and has never slept through in her short life, she wakes 3 or 4 times and just needs settling straight back down with a blanket over her. I have got used to it and just came to the decision that she will sleep eventually Hmm.

however, this weekend me and DD stayed at my mums, DD has her own room there with her own cot and teddies etc, and she slept through both nights Shock same routine, same person putting her to bed etc as normal just a different place.

She was back in her own cot last night and she woke up 4 times again Sad. Any tips as to why she might be doing this? She doesn't have a bottle in the night.

Is it warmer/darker/quieter at your mum's house?

My one year old sleeps better at my mums house too.

I don't know if it's because her house is like a sauna or if it's the noise from the planes going over head all night (she lives near the airport)

Either way I can't sleep in a sauna and we don't live near an airport do not much I can do about it. Sad

It's possibly a bit lighter, I left the hall light on for her as she didn't know where she was and I didn't want her to wake up and be scared...that's a good point I might try leaving the bathroom light on for her!

Everything else is pretty much the same apart from it being a different house obviously! She's even got duplicate teddies! Grin
