When your children make you cry...

My DS1 made me cry today.

He told me he was going to run a sweet shop when he was older, and stay there all day and all night and sleep above the shop. And if I came to his shop when it was closed he would unlock it and open it just for me. And I could have free cakes whenever I wanted. And if he didn't have the cake I wanted in stock he would bake it for me specially.:o

He is 6 and has been trying my patience a bit recently, but sometimes little things like this stop you in your tracks and remind you how lovely your children are.

I was desperately trying to get my 12mo DD to have a nap this morning, giving her a little cuddle but starting to lose my patience, when she started taking her dummy out and shoving it in MY mouth! It was such a lovely moment as she was completely oblivious to my frustration and just wanted to play a little game :)
I shed a little tear and what did she do? Pointed and laughed at me! Which obviously set me off all over again!
