Is anyone elses dcs a fidget arse when they eat? It drives me mad. When we eat at the table he is kicking his legs, standing up, sitting down, bobbing his head, swinging his arms, tapping his cutlery, says he's dancing, everything but eating his food. If he has a snack, say sitting on the sofa, he will constantly stand up, jump around and run round the room whilst he is eating. He can't seem to stay still whilst he eats, makes me feel quite sick at meal times when we are trying to eat and he is bouncing around next to me.

Yes and yes it drives me mad. Ds is 4. How old is yours? He does seem to be getting a little better but the phrase ants in your pants springs to mind.

Oh mine too! He's 4.5, it drives me bananas! Grin

He is 2.8. They say he sits nicely at nursery for dinner and it's the other kids that are messing about. Maybe he needs a seatbelt or something when we are at the table!

fraggle maybe you should bring his carseat indoors? 5 point harness could work wonders Xmas Grin

We have this problem with both our DDs (4 & 5). Drives us mad. I constantly threaten to reinstate their old booster seats with straps but unfortunately it's an empty threat as I sold them in a car boot sale. Have considered strapping them down with scarves...
