2nd toe overlaps big toe on 10month old

My ds is very mobile and cruises round furniture stands on his own and generally gets on to everything. He doesn't wear proper shoes yet as he can't walk, but I'm worried about his second toe on one foot which clearly overlaps the big toe most of the time. It can go back to we're it should be if u put it there but it seems to pin out and stay overlapping.

Anyone else have this or will he grow out of it ? Do it think a trip to gp is needed just in case they need to do something to it?

I would ask your hv or gp just to check it in case it causes problems, my ds had club feet when born but luckily they've just about corrected themselves but he is very flat footed but the paediatrician won't do anything til he's about 4.

It may be difficult to get shoes on when he needs then if his toe goes over?

my 10month old's 2nd and 3rd toes cross on one foot. they were like that at birth and i've shown them to several gp's and health visitors who say it isn't a problem. i'm convinced they are going to rub or overlap in shoes and cause a problem but will have to see i suppose. i'm hoping so long as i can make sure they are straight in the shoes then that should be o.k. he's been cruising for a few weeks so i'm thinking of getting him cruising shoes soon - we tried them in the shop but something wasn't quite right and they didn't fit/stay on properly so am going to leave it a few weeks.
