Title pretty much sums it up. Whilst it was only the sofa it was actually quite sweet but today I caught him climbing up the dining room chairs onto the dining room table, which is not good. How do you cope? How long does this phase last? Thanks in advance!

eyes in the back of your head and as much distraction as you can muster.

good luck x

What madwoman said!

Also run him ragged outside as much as possible, take him to the park, swimming etc. (not so easy in this weather I know)

Do you have Gym babes/Tumble tots in your area?

My DD2 loved going to these sessions & they do great things with them, and teach you games/songs to distract them.

Good luck!

Same here. Move everything you care about that is breakable / chewable (there are more and more things piled in fewer and fewer spaces in our house as ds grows!)

Its just curiosity / because he can with ds so I think you do need to try and be cool about it.

The one that really worries me is climbing up and balancing on the side of the bath. Turned around from frowning in the mirror last week and he was there wobbling and grinning at me! Every night since then he tries it.
