Silly to buy a wheelybug for 4yr old?

Ds is just four, and says he wants a wheelybug for xmas. Have considered one for his little brother, 22 months, and we're expecting a 3rd baby so it will get used. But I don't want to get the 4yr old that will be too small for him straight away...

Also worried about getting him one and NOT getting his brother one - can see some serious squabbling there! So then wondered whether to get 2 bugs... How long do you think they'd use them for?

Hmm.. I reckon 4 is too old - DS is just 4 as well, and could ride one of the large ones but would fall off the back.

tbh, I think he'd outgrown his small one by 2 years - he had one of these by then

my 10 year old still loves her wheelybug, and rides it round the house joyfully. It's always been one of the most popular toys we have with children of any age. So no, I don't think 4 is too old!

DD1 is a small 5.4 and is still able to whizz around the house on the small wheelybug she got for her first Christmas. DD2 will soon be big enough to use it too. Don't think 4 is too big/old for one especially if you get a big one and you have younger DCs to pass it on to.
