How can I get my 3.8y/o to stop picking her nose?

seriously its 24/7 and a recent addition to put it in her (dunno even wanna say it)..................Mouth!

I have a tried rewards, discipline, even asking her to only do it in private. I have given her her own little special box to keep tissues in. Still spends most the day with her finger up her nose.

Ignore. The more fuss you make of it the more she will do it.

my 8 year old still picks her nose on occasion (and eats it too!)

If you find out how to stop it please tell me! 3yo DD been picking and eating for ages. Today when I asked her why she did it she told me it tastes nice . It started me wondering at what point do children stop finding snot delicious and start finding it disgusting?!

Zimbah you pose a good point when do they stop? oh well I guess it is just another phase type thing, just dreading the pre-school nativity and the photo!!
