Is my baby bored?

I have a ds2 of 8 weeks. He is lovely and I am enjoying every minute with him. The thing is, I am not doing much other than feeding and cuddling. Ds1 was very much a pfb so I talked to him and sang to him non stop but this time quite frankly I can't seem to be arsed. We are on our own every morning while ds1 goes to nursery, then in the afternoon ds2 sleeps in his pram while we go to the park with ds1 or sits in his bouncy chair and watches me and ds1 play.
I really don't want to do the baby group thing this time round either whereas with ds1 we went to a baby group almost every day!
So my question is this: am I doing ds2 a disservice? Is he going to have language problems or something?

Your ds2 will be much less bored because he has a wonderful big brother to watch. Much more interesting than anything else at that age.

Can you do more floor time as he can kick and wriggle and you can just sit and make faces? Mine is 11 weeks and still not into toys at all so I know where you are coming from with feeling like the only source of entertainment is you, can feel like pressure, we play lots of my music an I sing along while holding or facing DS as hate singing nursry rhymes.
