My dd has just turned 7 months. She's never slept through the night except for on a handful of occasions. at the moment she is waking at midnight and 4 o'clock every night but isn't hungry. I have tried cc in the past but stopes because she was having teething symptoms and I can't listen to her cry!!! She will go back to sleep at present but only when bf or rocked to sleep. Has anyone got any strategies you have used in similar situations??? I am so tired!!!

My dd drove me round the bend like this for 10 months. At that point she learnt to walk and bingo! ... Except that she would also insist on taking an instant nap in the middle of the stairs during the day if she could.
You obviously need to break the cycle, so make her daily routine different and as active as possible. Then try and move the last feed of the day a little later. This should hopefully move her waking time farther on. You need to form a new pattern that suits you better, so change a few other things too, like the position of the cot, the order of things you do immediately before bedtime etc, so that you have 'rebooted' the situation, and then stick to the new pattern for a while and cross your fingers!
Also see if there is anything that may be waking her at these times - neighbour's car, street light coming on etc.
Good luck - you have my every sympathy!
