How can I stop 11 month DS getting stuck on front in sleep? Driving me to the edge...

My DS can roll, crawl, pull himself up etc...when he's on the ground, but in his cot, if he rolls over to his stomach in his sleep (unless he's in a super heavy sleep) he'll invariably feel like he's stuck and start crying.

he's been a great sleeper but this is definitely becoming a 4-5 times a night habit and it's driving me crazy.

We tried rolled up towels under the sheet, like bumpers, for a while and it stopped. But now they don't seem to make a difference - and in fact, we removed them a week or so ago.

He seems too old for that sort of stuff - or is he? Will a pillow help or any other suggestions?

Dd used to do this - it lasted about 6 weeks, but now she sleeps on her front out of choice. Don't think there's much you can do apart from wait. It's very frustrating.
