18 month old DS is absolutely obssessed with Dora......

I mean literally obssessed!! DD loves it but she used to watch it on NTL all the time... we haven't had NTL for over 6 months and only recently bought a Dora DVD. Despite this it's all he talks about! He can't say Mummy but he can sing D D Dora all day long. Whatever we buy dd with Dora on he has to have. Problem with that being most of the stuff is a biut too girly to buy for him!

Do they all get like this with characters at this age??

ahhh, my DD loves dora too! shes 19 months, she has a soft dolly that goes everywhere, god help us if we cant find her, she calls her dorda. i think all kids find some character that they love. i think its sweet!

DS is like this with Teletubbies and Balamory!

Dora was banned in this house when dd started talking with an American twang ... made me cringe.

They have Dora clothes in the new Vertbaudet catalogue - but they are Dora La Exploratrice or somesuch. They have socks which would be OK for a boy!
