Hi, can you tell me if know if it is possible to react to calpol? I have been given it to my 15 month son as he has been unwell with high temperature/throat infection etc. However, (he is now very much better than before) he will suddenly start having a screaming fit for no apparent reason and it can last as long as 45 mins or even longer. I was wondering if this is a reaction to the calpol or the terrible 2s starting early?!

he might still be feeling very poorly. But yes it is possible to have a reaction to calpol, because calpol has paracetamol in it and people can be allergic or have an intolerance to paracetamol. He might also have a bad belly ache, or be teething without any red cheeks. x
