Allergies

My DS, 2.5 yrs keeps on having his right eye swell up. It?s now happened several times and it?s always first thing in the morning when he gets up. Our GP believes that it is probably an allergy and has given us some anti-histamine to use.

What I was wondering was if we can identify what the possible cause of the issue is. Because it is always first thing in the morning does that mean that it is definitely something in his room and possibly even in his bed?

How long from exposure would it take for the allergy to have effect? I?m pretty sure that when I went in at ~7am this morning he was OK. But by 9am his eye was swelling up.

Does it happen every day? Have you changed washing powder, breakfast cereal, cleaning products, or anything obvious like that? Maybe diary its occurrence before going back to the GP?

No not every day, it's happening once every few weeks.

Still the same everything. There isn't anything obviously new that we can identify.
