3 month growth spurt nightmare - help!

help! Does anyone have experience of the 3 month growth spurt? My daughter slept pretty well from about 7 weeks (down at 7pm, feed at 1/2am, feed at 3/4am, up around 6/7am) but for the last week or so has been feeding every 2 or 3 hours from about 11pm. She settles herself to sleep pretty well, so I'm sure it's hunger and not a comfort thing, but I need to know it won't go on for much longer - I have an insomniac toddler too and am pretty fed up with feeling like a zombie. Do babies tend to slip back into their previous sleeping habits once the spurt's over? I also have tons of milk so feel like I should be keeping up with demand - but maybe she just needs it more frequently at the mooment (rather than in greater volume)?? Sympathy please! Thanks.

Mine took a down turn, waking up loads, feeding loads, during the 4th month. If it's any consollation it's now better at 5.5 months, so it sounds like one of those things that you have to try and survive!

Yes. It is usually known as the 4 month regression to newborn hell but your dd is obviously advanced Grin

The good news is that once through this phase EVERYTHING gets easier and settles.

The trick is simply to go to bed as early as you can possibly manage i.e. 7/8pm and sleep until 7/8am hoping that somewhere in that 12 hours you'll actually GET 7 hours or so if not undisturbed.

Google Kellymon 4 month and you can read all about it!
