At 10mo DD still has no interest in standing or pulling up.

She has been crawling for a few weeks now but I still worry a bit. Please cheer me up with success stories of late standers!

No children myself but niece did this. Wouldnt/couldnt walk crawled really late but preferred to sit flapping her arms at the objects til someone give her it!

12 months old to the day, got up walked across the room completely unaided as if she had been walking for weeks and forgot to tell us. :)

Can't share a success story but my 9 month old doesn't crawl - at all.
He just sits there.
If you've got a crawler then she's on her way!

Honestly don't worry. Ds is now 11.5 months. Only crawled at 10.5 months. Tried to stand up straight away but took him a week or so to figure it out. He is getting good at it now, totally normal for them to take a while. They need to build upper body strength. You'll very soon be wishing they couldn't Wink

Neither of mine sat before 9 months and one never crawled but bum shuffled everywhere!! Crawler walked at 22 months, bum shuffled walked at 25 months Confused

Thank you all, I'm gonna try and chill out about it and let her do it in her own time :-)

Hey don't worry - my DD couldn't even put weight on her feet at a year and hadn't moved one flippin' inch! Turned into another bum shuffler and walked at 20 months.

Rubyabcd · 14/11/2011 19:50

My dd crawled at 13m, pulled up at 14m, cruised a 15m and is now walking at 17m!!

Rubyabcd · 14/11/2011 19:51

walking as well as those who walked months before her I might add!!
