question about peek a boo

My DS is 11 months - he laughs his head off when people hide and jump out at him or play peek a boo etc - he even laughs when u try and hide him. But he doesn't initiate it whereas a couple of his mates do. Is this normal? He's only just learnt to crawl so maybe he doesn't yet quite grasp the concept of hiding. he's very engaged and alert and loves playing with his toys

Sorry. Probably sounds like a total PFB sort of annoying question

Very normal in my experience...my older DD didn't even wave for AGES when all her mates did....she was slower to hide and things too...but DD2 did it all very young. They do vary so much. Your DS sounds lovely and fine.

Don't think DD ever initiated it. Not a problem.

He sounds lovely. Don't think its a problem, you may find he will in a couple of months.

Ds is 16 months and can't / doesn't clap or point. And I worry about it so I know where you are coming from. He is however excellent on the stairs, which I always dismiss and fret about younger babies who sit around pointing and clapping all day.
