Can I do anything to stop him? Or is it just a phase he'll get over?

It makes a horrid noise, I can't believe it's ok for his teeth :(

My GP sad to give DS a dummy.

He already has one, but I was trying to reduce how much he has it. Maybe that's the problem...

Thanks :)

In his sleep or when awake?

I grind my teeth at night and cannot stop!

DD used to grind her teeth during the day when she got the back ones, but stopped. I think it was just the new sensation.

I wanted to post about this today! DS is 9 months, has 7 teeth and the 8th is cutting at the moment (4 up and 4 down). He has started to grind his teeth too, horrible noise, and I worry he might damage them. I really hope it's just a phase, he doesn't want his dummy when he is doing it.

Most ?all DC were tooth grinders at that age but seem to have stopped by themselves (now age 7-12).

When he's awake.

I don't know if he does it asleep (DH does and has to wear a thing no idea what it's called at my insistence more than the dentist's).

Hopefully he's just doing it while some more come through then, bankholiday.
He only has two on the bottom though, right at the front, so I think it's the well-established ones he's grinding Hmm

Thanks everyone :)
