No poo in 3 days

Hi, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, and have a feeling I know the answer but just need a bit of reassurance. My 8 week old DD hasn't done a poo on 3 days now, I know it's not unusual for babies to go for a couple of days without pooing and I'm guessing it's nothing to worry about but could do with hearing someone else say that! She usually only poos once a day, and has missed 1 day before but never 3. She doesn't seem unhappy or in any pain. Just not sure when I should start worrying / taking action if it doesn't happen soon?

is she breastfed?

Oh yes, should have said, she's ebf but we've started giving her a single bottle of expressed milk at night.

well the good news is that a breastfed baby can go up to a week or so without pooing! they absorb pretty much all of the milk so often there just isn't anything much left to get rid of.

the bad news is that when she does go you'll all know about it! lol

Very, very normal. I think my daughter has gone 5+ days without a poo, friends' kids have gone even longer. I mentioned it to a health worker who seemed totally cheerful about it. Don't fret. But worth making a note of when the last poo was, so you can be clear about it if you DO see someone.
