My 4yr old dd won't stop peeing!

I'm not sure what to do about this. My dd (4 last week) is constantly going to the loo- about 4/5 times an hour. Ive taken her to the docs- had 2 urine tests- one sent off to lab and they have shown nothing. She drinks an average amount. (not lots, not little) we've had no problems in the past. Potty trained fairly easily- she did get a bit stressed about pooing when potty training (over a year ago now).

So could this be a physiological thing? I can't think why. I'm not sure how to handle it- do I ignore and try to not make a fuss. Or do I try to encourage her to go less?

Every time we go somewhere she asks me if there will be a toilet there- poor little thing.

I would keep a food diary and see if there's any link.

Does squash make her pee more than water? etc.....

What did the doctor say?
Maybe try her with some cranberry juice or barley water squash - it can't hurt.
A food diary is a good idea.

My DS did this at about 2......no sign of infection either. It lasted a couple of weeks. We think it was the excitement of Christmas. Happened over Christmas. Are there any events in your life changing just now? Sometimes it can be something small.

It could be maybe she had a small accident and got embarrassed by it?? And now goes often to stop it happening again?? Personally id ignore it and see where it goes. Attention in either direction is attention, and if that is what she is seeking, I wouldn't give it....ESP if there is no medical problem. But I'd want all medical problems eliminated first I think.
