Ok so this is probably completely normal, but I just wanted to double check!
DS is almost 1yo,cannot stop playing with his willy wonk AS SOON AS his nappy is off his hand is straight down there!
This morning he threw his first ?tantrum? when I moved his hand (as it was a pooey nappy) and I mean kicking and screaming.
His willys not red or swollen...
So is this just what happens and have I just got years of this to come....

Wee boys and willies I'm afraid.

You have years... and years... and years of this to come.

My lo has just turned 2 and for about 3/4 months now his willy is topic of the day! Many mornings, his first word to me is not good morning but "willy". His hands are down his nappy quite a lot which I just let be, but try to discourage it when out in public. He doesn't have tantrums over it luckily but probably only takes about 30 seconds before his hands are there again.

Moving his hands for a dirty nappy change is a must really, so I'd continue doing that regardless of his tantrums and then at some point it'll sink in that nappy changes aren't the ideal time for this!

I think that's just maybe what boys do! :)

Its definitely a boys favourite toy! Have you seen him have an erection yet? Now thats a shocker the first few times.

MerryMarigold · 02/11/2011 14:43

I have 2 ds's and the younger one is much more of a 'fiddler'. He regularly gets mini erections, which was odd first time as I had never seen it in his big bro who is 3 yrs older. I have to tell him 'hands out' quite often. Trust me, once he's in pants it'll be a million times worse!

My ds is nearly 4 and still obsessed with his willy
As dp says - the beginning of a lifelong affairGrin

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 02/11/2011 14:43

Ha, I remember my DS1 very proudly announcing he had a big willy (an erection). We had just sat down to dinner with childless friends, and he insisted on demonstating.

Yup, years of it.

(I believe girls have their own version and recall "playing horsies" with the arm of the chair quite often myself. Grin

Oh yes, dd is the worst fiddler of them all!! She calls it 'fluffing' (she's only just turned 3, so I will let her off for a bit).

BenRoo · 02/11/2011 15:33

Oh dear!
Your posts have made me chuckle! Grin
It looks like I've got some interesting times ahead!
