Disrupted sleep

My lo isn't sleeping through still at 6 1/2 months. We've had 2 nights since he was born where he slept through and we didn't know why! At the moment he is going to bed at 7.30-8 and then can wake at any time between 10 - 2 and then wakes every hour, 30 mins after through the night after. He wants his dummy but other than this there isn't a reason we can identify that makes him wake - any ideas? We've tried an osteopath as he had a traumatic birth which hadn't helped - we're shattered and running out of ideas!

Thanks! H

Sorry no help but in same boat with my 1 year old, he has never really slept, he just doesn't seem to need it, he has never slept longer than 10pm til 5am and he usually wakes at least once between these times. I too was wondering about an osteopath as I am at a loss. Our first baby slept loads and by this age was sleeping 12 hours a night. Sorry no help but you have my sympathy!!
