Morning all. It is rather early eh?

Please can you recommend a good alarm clock for DD? I want something fun and something that she will like using.

It does not have to be pink.

It does not have to be, or rather, don't want a gro-clock sleeping training one

I have a disney princess one for her already and it is rubbish. She seems to work better with an old rubbish travel one we had that beeps, so sounds would be better for her, the disney one does not make a sound, just turns around when it is morning so I think she wakes up, and watches it waiting for it to change, then thinks it is broken as it take so long and she is wide awake.

She is vaguely learning to tell the time, but currently not able to read conventional time, understands some digital time. Not sure if best to encourage traditional time telling or not for now - i just want her to sleep right now!

Don't bother with the sleep training ones - they are a waste of money and will soon be considered too 'babyish' by DD.

We bought DS a digital clock radio from Tesco. He couldn't read analogue clocks at that age (still can't but that's another story....), but we said as long as the first number was 7 or 8 he could get out of bed. 6 meant that he had to stay in bed.
