Dd has now decided to not sleep in her cot just 2 weeks ago - after a bout of teething. She has slept well up until this and now i have not had one nights sleep since. She wakens at 11pm, 2am, 5am, and then sleeps until 8.30am. The last sleep is in her cot. The 2am one can last up to 2 hours to get her back to sleep. This is our second baby and ds was not as bad as this! Please, any tips???? She is not necessarily looking for a bottle - but it is offered to help her back to sleep. She does take a dummy but again it is not this that will settle her - only our bed. Does this last for long?

DD slept in my bed from around 4/5 weeks old until her second birthday. Worked for us. Is it an option for you or a big no no?

We've just been through this with our dd who is also 9mo. It took a lot of perseverence but, fingers crossed, seems to be working. After a bout of illness she spent a lot of time in with usthen when she was well again started waking ever 1-2 hrs and really kicking off until she got to come into our bed. Co sleeping is nice sometimes but not what i want all the time because i sleep really lightly when she's in with us and feel rubbish the next day. We took it in turns to settle her for two nights (fri and sat) and by sunday night she seemed to get the message. Good luck
