Although it's early days as she's only 4 weeks old, my DD loves her food, hates to miss anything, likes a lie-in & farts like a navvy. In short, she's a chip off the old block!!!

How does your little one resemble you?

Stubborn and persistent, cautious, observes at the edge of a group before joining in. Traits from dh - people person, atrocious sleep

jac34 · 24/12/2005 09:20

Both DH and I are both very stubborn, which makes it very difficult when having to compromise, it seems both DS's have got this trait!!!
DT1 is more like DH and always likes to have his own way.
DT2 is more like me,hates injustce or being accused if he thinks he's in the right, will fight his corner to the bitter end.

All proving very difficult to discipline!!!

aragon · 24/12/2005 10:04

Oh God yes!

No patience with inanimate objects which won't do what you want them to - double whammy here as DH is even worse than me if that's possible.

Stubborn and persistant rings bells too.

dh and i were having an argument the other day, until we stopped dead in our tracks. 15 month ds was imitating us - palms out, imitating our tone of voice - he made us brurst out laughing, and made us cautious of arguing in future!
He is also very extrovert and boisterous, and a bit whingy sometimes, just like us.

motherinfurriercoatnoknickers · 24/12/2005 11:38

Oh no, the Inferiorettes are stroppy little buggers, nothing like moi

LoveMyGirls · 26/12/2005 08:34

dd1 is like me - she's a mini me! she just has a way about her that is just like me, she is also very creative and loves role play has a good imagination but does whinge (like i did when i was a child)

dd2 is only 3 months so a bit hard to tell im hoping she will be like neither of us or if she is i hope she gets my looks n dp's brains lol!!

My 11 year old has the same generous, affectionate and huggy ways as my mum. I do wish my mum was still alive - she was so fond of him ( died when he was 5 and a 1/2). The two of them now would be such a scream together!

ohKARMAallyefaithfulMOTHER · 26/12/2005 23:29

LOL at motherinferior!
I have to say that right now, dd does not resemble me at all. I want to go to sleep & she, most definately, does not.

ds is very quiet and very sensitive/artistic and stubborn

dd hates being told what to do and has to do things her own way and oh is into music and singing/creativity

Hulababy · 27/12/2005 10:02

DD is the image of my photos as a little girl. I can't believe I was such aa chatterbox and so bosy though

veuveclicquot · 27/12/2005 10:10

Poor DD has got my huge feet and is already distressed by the fact that she can't draw (I'm the least artistic person on the planet).

She's very technically competent though, good with gadgets and logic, and DP and I are both engineers. I'm not sure if this is nature or nurture though, as DP and I are always faffing about with screwdrivers and gadgets. She got a toolkit for christmas
