Hello
Can anyone recommend a make of toilet training seat that clips on to the loo seat and doesn't slip around and has a large hole. Chunky DS at 2.6 is demonstrating willingness to use the loo and I want to strike while the iron is hot.

Any help appreciated.

The best one that I found was a white soft padded seat from Mothercare - £10 I think. It doesn't clip on, but fits over most seats. It was the third one I tried - DS1 (also sturdy) just didn't feel safe on the others. It didn't help that our downstairs loo is round rather than the usual shape, so the other seats didn't really fit that well.

thanks for that .... codswallop, I guess you are right, why bother. He's too big to slide all the way down the loo. Do you have any tips for the rest of training to use the loo?

We use the mothercare padded one at home, but dd1 seems v happy without it, tbh. I suspect it's more my worry than hers - I think I may have slipped in myself when little!

Send him with his Dad!
