Don't want to descend into hysteria about it, was going to go along the lines of it's not polite, you shouldn't ask and you shouldn't show yours if someone asks you.

Just had this conversation with my five year old. He took his underpants off when getting changed for P.E. so thought it was time I just emphasised that nobody apart from me, Daddy and doctor are allowed to see his private parts and that's the same for everybody. He seems to have taken it on board, although now wont get changed in front of his Nana!

I've told DDs (2 and 4) that they need to keep pants on (they like to be naked!), as their bits are private, so they're just for them. I suppose we had a lot of practise as they were always taking their clothes off...

Just tell them that's where poo and wee comes out of ... I did and it soon changed their opinion of it all .... YUK!!!
