my BIL and sister need to go away for 2 weeks. my DN will be with her grandparents (they live in a joint family system). my DN is 14 mnths and very close to my sister, well obviously as she is her mum. i absolutely adore my DN and want to be rassured that this would not have any long term affects on her.

No. She'll be fine!

She'll be other people she knows, who love her, who will give her warmth, food, shelter, affection etc.

Try to not pass this fear onto your sister, it'll make her feel awful!

thanks TryLikingClarity for replying.
and thanks for the reassurance. i was quite worked up about it. its a good thing my sister is so busy or i would have passed my irrational fears to her.
