3 year old still naps in afternoon

Is this normal?? He's 3 years 4 months and will sleep for 1 - 2 hours. Sleeps 12 hours per night.

My dd still naps on the weekend and practically every day during the summer holidays...she is 5 years and 2 months old. My ds is 3 and he also still naps every day. So no, there is no problem with it. I thought my dd would have huge problems when she started reception but she was ok. Admittedly she was exhausted by the end of each term but she coped. She is now in Year 1 and is shattered at the end of the second week, but she is coping. Am hoping her stamina will increase soon! Don't worry - people tried to tell me it was not right for a child that age to be napping...I think they were jealous. Some people need more sleep than others.
