Recognising colours....by 3?

My dd says every one is green. I remember dd1 knowing her colours by 3.....

Check for colourblindness; ask GP or optician, just to rule it out. There are a few tests here which are no substitution for proper testing, but may give you an idea.

Try asking her receptively: get three of the same objects in different colours, and ask her to give you the blue/red/green one.

Also try colour matching: do this with pieces of coloured paper rather than objects at first, so she is not matching any other attribute IYSWIM.

Thanks for that tether funny I was thinking about colourblindness today because of her obsession with green! I will ask GP....
