Teething from 7 wks-is it possible?

Our DS was showing signs of teething at 7 wks, drooling, increased nappies, fist in mouth constantly even after being fed. He's 10 wks now and it's still continuing although it's no worse, most people have laughed when I've suggested he could be teething.

So was just wondering is it possible at such a young age?

Yes, this can happen. My 10 week old DD was born with two teeth! She's been teething terribly for a while now. If they seem to be in a lot of pain maybe take them to your GP. My own prescribed some liquid paracetamol which works a treat when she's in pain. Hope this helps!

You're probably right! DD had these symptoms around ten weeks and I thought she couldn't possibly be teething. At 15 weeks, two teeth popped through. She's ten months now and has 10
Teeth (toothyGrin)!

My DD cut her first teeth at 13 weeks so yes, it is possible.
Calpol and bonjela before naps helped when she was at her worst.
At six months she doesn't have any more but has been teething continuously in-between...
