Hello, could anyone offer any tips to help me? My 2.5 year old is absolutely terrified of the vacuum cleaner. It wasn't a problem in our old house with wooden floors, but have now moved to a fully carpeted house complete with cats (inherited from grandma). I can't vacuum while he is asleep, because it wakes him, and he just screams in fear. I don't want to frighten him, but I also don't want to avoid vacuuming while he is around. PLEASE HELP ME!!

let him investigate it lots when it isnt plugged in and then one of you hold him up high while it is on at the other side of the room and gradually move it closer to him. let him push it while you are holding him up if he can get close enough without screaming. 2/3 of my kids have been scared of it and got over it, he will too
