violent 5 year old. ...help

I have an extremely violent 5 year old...he kicks punches slaps spits and he also has epilepsy. ...I am 24 weeks pregnant and he is threatening to kill the baby and kick me in the stomach...i have been to my gp the consultant cahms. ..all i get is fobbed. .at my wot end. ..Help anyone x

I am so sorry to hear about this - I am having difficulties with my 7 year old being violent (among other things) and am waiting for a CAHMS referral. Is there any reason why he is so angry? My little one has a history (adopted as an older child, lots of serious anger issues) so we're working through these, but I wonder if the first step is to try and work out what he's angry about, make some suggestions to him, and tell him it's OK to feel that way, and then to talk about alternative ways of expressing his anger?
