Just wondering when it's commonly thought 'safe' to allow babies to sit up - with support. I'm thinking either in a bumbo or supported high chair or even on our knees.
15wo ds loves to be upright especially on our knees to look around. His head is pretty much steady and back seems quite sturdy and strong.
We've also tried sitting him in his bumbo which he liked and are thinking of ordering a high chair we've seen which says suitable from 4 months. My mum, however, has highlighted that this may be a bad idea for the development of his spine - is this right?
