Ds had a cold last week but is better now. During and since then, he has been really clingy. We are now at the point where he screams and cries if I do anything other than carry him around.

Is this a hangover from last week? Separation anxiety? Any tips?

I have a splitting headache from all the noise and I can't get anything done!!!!

Has he got an ear infection? Can make babies really screamy....

Doc checked that when we were there and that wasn't a problem. Is sep anx typical at this age?

ear infection sounds likely.

probably a hangover from last week.

When the DTs did that to me I took the decision to do nothing for a couple of days. I sat with them (and the paper that I never got to read) on the couch.

I found that after a while they got up and got a bit busy, so I kept my paperwork nearby and would sit at the table for a few minutes doing that. When they noticed that I had dared to move I went back to the couch.

I just decided that it wasn't worth the grief.

I don't know if that's any help to you cos my only other suggestion is neurofen and earplugs!

I would take him back to the GP. Or a different one preferably.
