Just wondering if there is a reason behind this or if it's just another weird & wonderful toddler thing!
DD is almost 3 & she's been drawing figures for about 6 months, in hilarious detail "no mummy, that's not his mouth that's his belly button!". They are round shapes with long arms & legs, hair, eyes & belly buttons
and they haven't really changed in that time. But she always draws them so they are upside down. Just wondered if anyone know if there is a reason for this in terms of development, I find it really fascinating. Have just read the links about schemas on another thread - talk about an aha moment! Really interesting.
Thanks for any thoughts / anecdotes.
